There's been countless times over the years that the Marlins played awful teams and couldn't beat them. Being able to handedly take care of the Nationals is actually a step in the right direction for the Marlins. Now they just gotta learn to beat "better" teams consistently. Plus there's been plenty of teams with excellent records who got there by padding up wins over the shitty teams, those wins still count.
