It'd certainly raise questions as to how close to the decisions his source(s) is/are (i.e. if source hears about it, but they've moved on it was still good info, but not current).  But he seems to be one of the few sources of info for Marlins news, so.....

I wasn't convinced on Castellanos and he's gonna cost a lot more, I'm actually wondering if we got the better bang for our buck with Garcia.

Yeah, I remember liking the signing at the time - he had had some decent years in SF (I don't remember if he came directly from there or if there was another stop in between SF and us), but like the Salty signing it just didn't work out.

Another reason I'm concerned at swimming in the mid-tier FA pool.

Castellanos is far and away a better player.

Better bang for the buck is searching for 'excuses' to justify something questionable. 

I saw someone say it best earlier. They need to do enough after this that we almost forget this signing even happened. It needs to be just one of many moves and a minor one. It can not be a highlight of the off-season.

Bleday had a great AFL campaign. He'll probably start in AAA and not be too for off from being called up.

My questions on Castellanos are my own beliefs, I'm afraid he's gonna get a mega deal and massively disappoint. I know he's a better player than Garcia but I'm saying Garcia for $53M might be better for us than Castellanos at X amount. I think both guys are gonna disappoint. Castellanos might become an albatross deal.

Pretty much everyone with any knowledge of the team's plan says this is not the end.
