And certainly is a superior defensive center fielder. And I'm talking now, not for the length of their deals - you could certainly argue that Marte could drop off significantly over that deal as he reaches 36-37 or whatever. So if they think swapping out Marte for Garcia is enough.... even with the boost at Catcher and INF platoon/bench. No way. Garcia replacing basically Duval? Sure okay. You could roll with corner outfielders of Sanchez/Garcia over Duval/Dickerson and I'll bite. But CF will be a big hole barring another major move. Hoping we'll still see something.
June 21, 20224 yr According tp Avi's stats on MLB's website, he weighs in at 250 lbs. According to an article in early 2021, Avi dropped over 30 lbs before that season and was around 220 lbs. Did he put the weight back on? Is that partly why he is so shitty at the plate?
