this sounds 100% true coming from Mish.

I’m done with Sixto, I’d cut bait first chance you can get to get anything of value for him.

This is about where I was months ago.

The kid is still only 23.  He won't turn 24 until after mid-season.  He still has time to heal and come back.  I'd rather not rush him. He's very talented, and his 2020 debut went pretty well.  He'll be very productive once he comes back.

Also, I'd bet most of those work ethic report's are over blown.  This happens to most heavy players.  If an athlete doesn't look to be in prime shape, he must be lazy.

Either way, it makes no sense to cut bait when his trade value is so low.  At this point, the only play is to give him time to get healthy.  Everyone's bodies heal differently.  Let's just hope for a successful mid-season return from Sixto.

I'm glad the medical staff cleaned the MRI machine but how did Sixto's shoulder look?

Like a ball n socket joint, some muscle, some ligament. Typical stuff.

But I feel he'd had a relatively lengthy injury history and/or supported by the work ethic reports.  Before the Marlins acquired him.

Some people are just injury prone.

I'm just saying I don't expect anything from him anytime soon.
