March 2, 20224 yr I'm not surprised about Sixto. He was known for conditioning and injury issues when he was with the Phillies.

March 2, 20224 yr At least Garrett Cooper gets hurt in games, Sixto seems to gets hurt wiping his ass.

Based on potential it's not stupid to try and take him. Injury history can sometimes predict the future but not always. His last injury could always be literally his last one and then he's a superstar from there. You kinda need more time to really prove your injury prone and that's where we are with Sixto now where it's clearly an issue and not just a freak injury anymore.
March 2, 20224 yr see, this could very much be one of Mish's "take a guess and see what happens" tweets, except this time based on Sixto's history, he has about a 95% chance of being right.
March 2, 20224 yr At this point trading sixto is stupid. Even if it takes him 3 more seasons, if he’s gonna get healthy and back to form, it’s going to be with the Marlins not another team. Edited March 2, 20224 yr by marlinsmaniac

I don't question this one, I am confident he got told this by someone in the know.

March 2, 20224 yr i said it before i think he ends up as a bullpen arm and i'd also be 100% ok trading him for an actual bat. we have a shitload of premium young arms - his injury history as a product of shitty conditioning (from previous reports) tells me he doesn't really give too much of a damn to take care of himself.

"source said Sixto 'felt something' during a throwing session, but apparently he was cleared to throw again and recovered very well. good news. #Marlins #SwingsandMishes #Journalism #Professional"

He'll hit his potential in a contract year, get a mega-deal, and be right back where he is right now - hurt all of the time.
