My guess, he'll stay if he doesn't get a blow away offer to go elsewhere. If he gets no offers or nothing that'll really make a difference financially then he'll happily stay here because he likes working with this pitching staff. Or, in other words, I don't think he's desperate to leave here, which might surprise some. Also, it would be nice if the Marlins actually gave him a raise to keep him and because he deserves it. I'm sure they know how important he is to this team.

He was hired as bench coach (because it's considered a higher position than hitting coach) but was also the "offensive coordinator" and thus was tasked with "implementing a hitting plan for both the major and minor league levels," based on his success improving the hitting for the Twins. Doesn't feel like that happened though. Kinda feels like we actually went backwards with that.

It also seemed like guys that were successful and drafted also fell off a cliff once they got in our organization.
