(white with offset red stripes in them). Why not ditch uniforms altogether and just do body paint "unis"?

Considering most of them are in great shape, there are worse images that could pop into my head.

Michael
DR vs Venezuela tonight should be really good. Great Britain vs USA tonight should be fun for @pollythewog who will get to see British Pete cry even though British Pete is such a nice guy 😞

SilverBullet
Heard a couple of innings of Rich Waltz calling Canada vs Great Britain and now I miss him even more. What an amazing commentator, such a joy to listen to, he makes it fun, he has the right type of humor for it where you can actually listen to his jokes and laugh along instead of being annoyed. I never really use this word in a serious manner but his style is actually "charming." You fall in love with his work. Man he was the best we've ever heard. We were so lucky to hear him down here, I wish we could have him back. And I know he isn't Vin Scully but I'd put him in Vin's category in the sense of just being such a treat to hear calling games.

Yeah, I miss him too. It's sad that they couldn't work something out to get him back here.

Agreed. Not to mention that he was our play by play guy for this franchise's last truly "fun" extended stretch of baseball between 2005 and 2009 (well, 2007 sucked but in the other years the Marlins legitimately contended for a playoff spot). And obviously he wasn't the PBP guy in 2003 and 2004 which was why I excluded those two years. Edited March 13 by Valid
FishFan95
There is a scenario that almost happened in pool A that might come into play in pool C. Suppose MEX beats GB tonight and beats CAN tomorrow. If USA lost to COL, then CAN, USA, and COL would all be 2-2 and it would go to the runs allowed tiebreaker. If USA only lost by 1 and the score is not too high, then I believe USA would still get through. So if COL got a walkout to win by 1, by ending the game as soon as the winning run crosses the plate, they would get eliminated. Should they get a chance to continue to bat to see if they can score the 2nd run?

Should they get a chance to continue to bat to see if they can score the 2nd run? Just checked the math. Due to the Mercy rule and COL going to extras in their first game, the math is a bit tricky. USA would basically have to lose 1-0 in the 11th with the winning run coming across with 2 outs. Doubt it happens but would be interesting if something like that came close to happening. FishFan95
I suppose that the tiebreakers only use runs between the tied teams math is much more favorable for USA after the Mexico win...
