Nah, it was obvious this situation was a set up. He thought he had a baddie and he fumbled the bag going for it. She played him and he thought he was getting what he wanted. Ironically both dumbasses deserve eachother.

he's my favorite player on the marlins i hope he stays here forever. him and sandy are the only foreseeable hopes for a marlins uniform in the hall of fame one day. we need to keep them both here for their careers but i dont think that will happen, it never does.

Do something about it.  I'm not really sure why this ownership group is given the benefit of the doubt when they have proven they will make every excuse to not spend money when they should be.

If they dont extend Arraez what will be the 'excuse' for not spending money then?

If they don't win the world series they will say 'this season didn't meet our expectations and in order to improve our team to reach our goals, we did what we feel is best to ensure sustainable success.' 

If they win the world series they will say 'this season was a huge step forward for our organization, and we will continue to do our best to ensure sustainable success.'

those will be the reasons they dont offer Arraez an extension and/or trade him.

it didnt happen, thats why they said 'should'. the team didnt negotiate (yet), arraez is eager and wants to negotiate, but they havent negotiated. team is too busy focusing on their sustainable success plan to care to talk with our best hitter and team mvp this year.
