I heard part of the short conference on the radio - basically the typical stuff - they're excited about things to come, he has to evaluate what's here, excited Arraez is open to an extension, etc. etc.

I heard Bendix talk on MLB Network and on Kyle Sielaff's show last week and I like that he basically said that all his answers on what has to be done are just canned answers that every organization always gives and that it was more about just getting the job done.

I liked that approach because everyone does regurgitate the same lines.

it was great seeing bendix already fitting in seamlessly to our marlins culture. with bruce sitting right next to him, he only took 2 sips of water during the whole 13 minute press conference. those bottles are expensive and they werent going to sign an extension for them, so drinking water on a budget is good business practice and will go a long way to help him build a winning team on a budget as well.

I'd agree - they're all going to say the same buzzword lines - just get the job done, and done well......preferably without waiting as long as Kim did for things.

I watched the whole presser and man people have such stupid questions. You get this chance to get these people in front of you and you can finally ask them something big and people just ask the dumbest shit. Would be hilarious if the responses could be what Bendix and others are really thinking to answer deep down.

Marlins are going to be fully commited to playing gimmick baseball and have a bottom 5 payroll year in and out.  

Painfully obvious here.
