I have to agree - it'll still be a tough pill to swallow, but there is an argument for Luzardo being used to fill the other gaps.  Arraez would just be trading for depth/yet another rebuild.

I could see a guy like Lorenzen or similar on a 1-2 year deal (or 1 with option) - that need will become bigger if we do trade luzardo.

Yeah, I think we need another arm to help with the innings regardless (I say the same thing every year, and it never happens....or blows up when they finally do get a guy like last year with Cueto lol).

other than the fact that odds are the will trade luzardo for prospects or not established players given the MO of the Rays and now the Marlins.

and if you trade luzardo becuase 'there is enough pitching' you all of a sudden dont have enough pitching.

Marlins are in a world of hurt innings wise for 2024 if they move Luzardo.
