Not sure probably Overweight to Obese technically on the scale..  but since I’m slightly taller than average and broad shoulders and thick chest and arms so the weight distributes well when standing and have weight trained on and off over the years look like a linebacker type physique when I stand up, however when I sit down, much different story. Was asked the other day by someone I know while I was sitting down how many months I was expecting. I responded with 5.. 😔

Luis Arraez is the type of guy who in an interview will humbly say something like “I understand it’s just business and part of the game. I’m just focused on helping the Marlins reach the World Series.”

FWIW, the Rangers and Nationals have publicly said they don't expect to be making any more signings, so that's 2 teams out of the running for whatever FAs are left - there's still hope we sign someone lol

Yeah.. don’t give up hope. There are still several talented and handsome players remaining in the free agent market such as:

Adam Duvall

JD Martinez

Tim Anderson

Lewis Brinson.

 

 

I am not at all surprised Bellinger is still a FA. I get that he had a good year, but since those couple of years with the Dodgers, his power has completely vanished. If he regresses at all you are stuck with a really expensive bust.

I'm pretty convinced whatever team signs him will regret it.

Tim Anderson would be a great sign as a buy low candidate. I don't understand why we haven't at least tried on him.

Would anyone take JD Martinez as full time DH Jorge Soler replacement?

I know he’s baseball player old now at 37.. but I mean he did hit .271 with 33 HRs last year at age 36? He might still have another decent year or so left in him.. or it could be a Gurriel repeat all over again.

He's not a bad option but he is probably looking for like $12-13 mil, and it's pretty clear this team can't/won't pay that

That’s true.. he is a hometown guy though lives in Ft Lauderdale and a Miami native so that would really help with the attendance numbers.

except JD was far better than Gurriel in a far more pitcher friendly park and division so there is that...
