Well some of you might not be concerned but playing in this big ballpark we need middle of the order guys to drive the ball hard and far. The skinny guys are fine for getting on base and stealing bags but "beefcake" guys need to be in the batters box casting a shadow. And the catcher should be a rock hard stud that nobody wants to crash in to at home plate and make them think twice about trying to score. Brantly is a good player and I think he could be our catcher for a long time but he could use some conditioning. The whole team just looks out of shape with the exception of the guys I mentioned already. This has to be a joke.

Its becoming harder and harder to be a fan of this team. Not only is our record the standard for league laughing stock, but now we just called up a 31yr old rookie. I understand this season has gotten out of hand, but jesus. Loria: Someone quick call Alejandro Pena. He's just now coming into his prime! Wait Benito Santiago is also available? WEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

How could this club strip down anymore than it already has? What value would Nick Green, Jeff Mathis and Miguel Olivo bring back? They would bring back another version of Nick Green, Jeff Mathis and Miguel Olivo.

This offense is just abysmal. I wouldn't be surprised if records for ineptitude by this team were set this year.
