Won / Loss Record
We should start a poll. Can someone give me 3 other former marlins players that you think should give Reggie good competition on "who suck the most" thread? I'm serious. Charles Johnson in 1996 Luis Castillo in 1998 Greg Zaun in 1998 Chuck Carr in 1995 Alex Gonzalez in 2000 (might be the worst of all time) Eric Owens in 2001 Charles Johnson in 2002 Mike Lowell in 2003 Those are the ones I could argue have been at least as bad, and in A-Gon's case in 2000, far, far worse.(based mostly on OPS).

Top 10 Worst Yankees Moments OF ALL TIME... Marlins #4
It's funny how the Yankees losing in the ALCS to the Red Sox is WORSE than a walkoff home run to lose the WORLD SERIES, a walkoff hit to loser the WORLD SERIES, and being SHUT OUT to lose the WORLD SERIES. Unless you are a Red Sox or Skankees fan, you can't really grasp the situation... No, that doesn't matter. ESPN loves to shove the Sox-Yankees rivalry in everyone's faces. Really, it is the most overhyped rivalry in sports. Most people don't care about it, and there is no way losing an ALCS is worse than losing a World Series. I don't care who it is.

Thoughts on team just before the break.
I think we need Messenger to give Moehler the old one two. We can turn it into a fish tradition. Anytime a pitcher struggles, have Randy there to enforce.

Welcome Home Mikey
Screw Mike Lowell. He was paid $8+ million last year to play as terribly as Abercrombie. He was drowning this team with his incompetence, and was one of the major reasons why we failed last year (his drop off in RBI production and HRs was a huge reason). Incompetent??? Surely you jest! Not in Fenway! He;s playing better than before! Could you try to be dumber, or have we reached the threshold?

Key For Fish vs 3 Games Home Series Bos
Key for Fish: Make sure to have the lead in the 8th before you face that 0.48 ERA "thing" in the 9th. His name is PAPELBON And he won't have an era below 3.00 by the end of the season!

Olivo & Treanor -- Playing Time Split
For what it's worth, I'd take Miguel Olivo this year over Paul Lo Duca this year.

Uggla ready to rock; Crowd for Sox series...
This might be troll talking but the Bos series might be the chance where former Marlins fans will come with sign "03 Marlins vs Impostor" protesting for selling the team and could end up cheering for Bos team with the Bos fans while the hardcore fan will be sadly outnumber. Huh?

Team Stat Compare To MLB
We're in no ways a great offensive team, but we have been mighty clutch this year. That's one thing that numbers haven't shown. Thats because clutch is for the most part coincidental.

Team Stat Compare To MLB
So basically, we are average or worse at everything but team ERA.

Marlins deserve shot at upgrades
I would love it if they could get Willy Tavares. I think he would fit in perfect. But why would Houston want to give him up? Yeah he's having an off season but who do they have to replace him? Who would the Marlins have to give up for him? He's not even starting for Houston.

You Know You're Obsessed With The Marlins When...
When you consider calling in sick to work so you don't miss the last 45 minutes of a game.

Ozzie at it again
But, I do like how Mariotti said "I'm going to detach myself" and then said he should be suspended and is taking it pretty personally.

Ozzie at it again
Marrioti seems to be handling it well.

The Break-Up
I thought that movie was really good, but I can tell most people won't like the ending. The dialogue was fantastic. Did Vince Vaughn improvise it? I know he usually does.

Pujols out with strained right oblique; likely headed to DL
Well, Pujols last year was worth 13 wins to the Cards, so they'll probably lose about 2 more games without him than they would've with him in this stretch (15 games=1/10 of the season, 1.3 wins, but I rounded to two with the season he's having).

Analysis Of the Offseason Trades
To the guy who said Beckett has been one of the best pitchers in the majors this year: He's got a 3.80 era. Thats good for boston (who has no pitching), but it's not best in the majors material. Make that a 4.46 ERA. I'd rather see what his ERA will be at the end of the season. Even Pedro had some not-so-great outings at times when he was still with us. Of course you would. But for now, his era is 4.46. And wins for a pitcher are pretty much irrelevant, just look at Clemens last year. Or Doug Davis and Chris Capuano last season (Davis was the better pitcher, Capuano got more run support=more wins).

George W. Bush
And also, this is for WildMarlinMan2003... Bill Clinton is a man of God. Committing one sin does not make a person any less of a religious person. Are the priests and bishops who molested the children any less men of god? You have no right to say that one person or another is not a man of God just for committing a sin. If so, the Pope wasn't a man of god until modern times. Last time I checked sanctioning murder and prejudice is a sin as well. -Beinfest-............... This for Beinfest..... Clinton is a pretty bad person..... 1) 25 Apr 1978 Arkansas state attorney general Bill Clinton allegedly rapes 35-year-old nursing home proprietor Juanita Broaddrick at the Camelot Inn in Little Rock. Broaddrick does not come forward with her story until 1998. 2) May 1991 In a room at Little Rock's Excelsior Hotel, Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton exposes his penis to state employee Paula Jones and propositions her to perform fellatio. In her civil deposition, Jones will later claim to have witnessed certain "distinguishing characteristics" of the governor's genitalia, the precise nature of which soon becomes the subject of much speculation. For her trouble, Jones eventually receives an out-of-court settlement for $850,000 and a nude pictorial in Penthouse magazine. 3) 27 Jan 1992 Candidate Bill Clinton and Gennifer Flowers mutually accuse each other of lying about whether or not they had a 12-year adulterous relationship, between 1977 and 1989. Of course, from Clinton's 1998 testimony we know for a fact that they did. For her trouble, Flowers eventually receives an out-of-court settlement for $800,000 and a nude pictorial in Penthouse magazine. 4) 29 Mar 1992 Arkansas Governor and Presidential candidate Bill Clinton tells the New York Times: "When I was in England, I experimented with marijuana a time or two, and I didn't like it. I didn't inhale, and never tried it again." 5) 28 May 1993 After being interrupted by AIDS protesters during a speech in Philadelphia, President Clinton opines: "Let me tell you something -- Wait a minute. You know one things that's wrong with this country? Everybody gets a chance to have their fair say." 6) 5 May 1995 During commencement at Michigan State University, President Clinton declares: "There is nothing patriotic about hating your country, or pretending that you can love your country but despise your government." 7) 15 Nov 1995 Bill Clinton gets a blowjob from Monica Lewinsky in a private study in the White House while on the phone with Reps. Jim Chapman and John Tanner. 8) 8 Jun 1996 In his weekly radio address, President Bill Clinton reminisces: "I have vivid and painful memories of black churches being burned in my own state when I was a child." Two days later, after it became clear that no black churches were burned in Arkansas during that period, a deputy White House press secretary clarifies: "The President's recollection is that there were burnings of some black community buildings in the '50s when he was a child." 9) 29 Aug 1996 Dick Morris, the top political adviser to President Bill Clinton and also a married man, resigns abruptly after the Star reveals his long-term relationship with a Washington prostitute. Morris had divulged secret White House information to Sherry Rowlands, even allowing the hooker to secretly listen in on some of his telephone conversations with the President. 10) 8 Nov 1997 President Bill Clinton speaks at a dinner sponsored by the Human Rights Campaign, the nation's largest gay rights organization. It is the first time an American president has so addressed a gathering of sodomites. 11) 15 Mar 1998 White House aide Kathleen Willey claims on the trashy TV tabloid program 60 Minutes that President Bill Clinton kissed her, touched her breasts and made her touch his "no-no place." Clinton of course denies this version of events. 12) 9 Dec 1999 President Bill Clinton signs legislation outlawing "crush videos," which generally involve women stomping frogs, mice, or other small animals with high heels. This fetish is definitely a niche market. 13) 22 Oct 2003 On Crossfire, Jerry Falwell explains that God arranged for President Clinton to be elected (and re-elected) so that Americans would beg for somebody else: "I think that we needed Bill Clinton, because we turned our backs on the Lord and we needed a bad President to get our attention again. To pray for a good President. That's what I believe." 14) Oct 2003 During a trip to Spain, former President Bill Clinton tells reporters that British Prime Minister Tony Blair's recent heart arrhythmia didn't surprise him: "I've known about this for a long time. He told me about it quite a few years ago." For their part, Blair's people dispute the claim. LIES and cheating on his wife many times.....he is not a true Christian. How can people believe this man? Ah, yes. Jerry Falwell, that bastion of level headed thinking. Thank you for pointing this out. Before this I thought Clinton was a good president, but since The Good Reverent doesn't think so, I must have been wrong.

Yeah, we want Keith Foulke! He of the 5.91 and 4.44 era in the last 2 seasons and the 1.40 whip. No thank you.
