After reading the Sun-senital this morning i'm very glad i cancel my season tickets this season, i know their will be folks making all kind of excuses for the owners, don't want to read how this team can't afford to keep a good player for just a million dollars and we wonder why no one want to attend games, every time you talk about getting a player someone would post we can't afford him, well it seem otherwise, if only the FO would stop stuffing their pockets we can get good players, ok, start the piling on and i know who will be first. It's a million for the rest of the year, and then Cody is arbitration eligible, and will probably make 10 million. Is he worth that? Would you rather have Cody than sign Dan Uggla? No right? So basically we would be paying him an extra million, and then at the beginning of the season we would be right back in the same place we are now, except the games count more, and we will be determining whether or not Maybin is good enough to be our day to day guy. At least this way they play Maybin for the last month and a half, and can look around in the off season if he doesn't pan out. They only complaint I have with the FO on this one is why didn't they move him at the deadline and try to get something for him. I'm not talking about Ross, didn't we let Goad go because of a different of a million, i may be wrong, the stats experts straighten that out, didn't the FO only give Oggla money after MLB and the players union expose the money their were receiving from revenue sharing, we can make all the excuses we want for the FO.

There are some on here believe the FO can do no wrong, this part of the reason we cannot put butts in the seats, a million for what.

We have very good young players but remember when their contract is up we cannot compete when teams like the yankees, red sox and other teams with money come offering big bucks, we know money talks and bs walks.

We can check and see what the fans want, offense, when we read what fans talk about we hear we should bring up player X, because he knocking the rwahide off the ball, we never hear one saying he is great with his glove, what do we hear with Hanley, he is the best hitter in baseball, so we have to put up with his glove, still it is not the worse,

This is one of the reasons i did not renew my season tickets, it is time money is spend on the team to make it better but all we have are the same players between the majors and the minors, plus some on here are so quick to be settleing for being a spoilers. "Money coming in will equal money going out." Top relief pitching and top SPs will not be brought in this coming year unless the season ticket base is substantially higher for next season. I see it being higher, but not substantially so. IMO, best to hope for is to shore up the defense to help the pitchers we will have and hang in there for one more season. I don't care how god those pitchers are, a last place defensive team does make a play off team. I see 2012 being different. FAR better stadium deal, higher ticket prices, and a far better season ticket base will equal much higher payroll. But there will be one more year (2011) of the "fan base" sitting at home, watching the games on TV, and complaining that Loria owes them before they spend any money. Personally I don't see how Loria owes the fan base anything. It has gotten more than it has paid for already. I think maybe he should have given long term season ticket holders a break in 2012 as they were the ones actually sitting through the games, but the complaining period is over for me. I see it different, give me a good product i will buy it, we don't go into a store and buy spoil apples so the store could go and buy good ones, we keep hearing 2012 will be good, believe i hope so, just remember to get good players we have to give up good, i think it is time Loria get off his money and make this team better, if you have a great team fans will come.

It's aggrivating...if you want to pay someone to go up there and strike out or fly out, I'll take half of what any of those guys are making! These guys just roll over. They score a little and then that's it. They never add on. The defense is embarrassing and I don't really understand what's going on there. The Marlins have done a 180, this is not the same team that almost swept the Padres. Unfortunately the rain may have had some factor with Anibal. He just didn't look good out there tonight and that started the whole thing, but yet he didn't give up much so we had a good chance to come back. Too bad it just didn't get rained out.. Marlins may be outta gas. 7-3 homestand to begind all star break 4-3 on road 0-2 so far on 6 game home stand. True, and I think the realization that this season is over is going to also affect them. Let's at least be spoilers though..nothing else we can do! It seem like we are so easy to settle for a spoiler role, i read that about the last two years or more, what about winning the division or wild card, to hell with spoiler.

It is funny, last week Sanabia pitch a very good game and we were reading how good he is, last night a bad game, he sucks, come on guys make up your minds, and stop beening a weather vane.

Why do we get upset when others talk about our team, when we do the same thing,
