July 18, 200520 yr It wouldn't have been Rivera's fault if the Red Sox had tied it... Cano threw away a double play ball, then he gave up a single, and a bloop. Thats why I hate the blown save stat. It shouldn't have been a problem, there shouldve been two out and no on, but because the fielder screwed up - Its considered a negative stat for the pitcher.
