April 11, 200917 yr I was there tonight and watched a great game, the bullpen kept it interesting but I was really impressed by Nunez and by Sanchez, good to see him get out of trouble and keeping his poise.

April 11, 200917 yr BREAKING NEWS!!!! "The experts" at baseball tonight just said the Marlins may be the team to beat in the nl east. They also mentioned how boni is a speed demon, and... they showed highlights of the game!!! To top it off they had a talk with Cantu over the phone. Wow finaly the Marlins get half the credit they deserve. :cool

They're just going with 4 to start the year b/c of the off day yesterday. we don't need a 5th starter until April 18th i believe because of the off days in between. We aren't going to need a 5th starter until the 18th. Thanks, guys! I gotta say... even if EB doesnt last long with the way he's playing right now IT IS FUN to watch Bugs Boni in action! :thumbup

April 11, 200917 yr Ok, I am a little ahammered right now so pardon any mistakes (of course when I go out the first thing I do is some home and check the Marlins board :lol ) So I just wannt say that I love this right now and I know 4 games means nothing, but it just feels so good to come out of the gate running and I swear I just have a different feeling about this year. I'm not trying to get ahead of myself, I am just proud of everything we've put together so far and I hope we can keep it going strong all year. Now I am going to lay in bed and watch my recording of the game!
April 11, 200917 yr I went with Bonifacio, even though Cantu had the big RBI, nobody else scores on that.
April 11, 200917 yr Nunez kind of saved the game for us, but Cantu finished it off. Then again Hanley was Hanley as usual. I think I'll go with Cantu though. Anibal pitched well, but was limited because of some walks and high pitch at-bats. Still a solid job though.

April 11, 200917 yr I voted for Cantu but it was a close one between him, H2R, Anibal and EB. Such a difference this season having awesome starting pitching compared to last April. And am I the only one wanting to see a race between EB and Usain Bolt???
