4/10 Post Game

Lindstrom's unavailable tomorrow, btw.

So the bullpen adventures will be even better. :o

Why is he unavailable??

Fredi has said he will not use him back to back days. Not yet, anyway...

we are the only undefeated team in baseball BTW. we can drop one to the mets, but if we win the series I can't wait to talk sh!t monday.

EDIT: Nevermind.

I say we brag about being undefeated 4-0... I know its nothing in a 162 game season but you know if the Yanks or Sox were 4-0, ESPN would rave about them going all the way... so why cant we?

i got no one to brag to at the moment, except my law books and fellow marlins fans.

HEy, i know this is off topic but,

as a nickname for emilio bonifacio,

why not call him...

BONO? :whistle :mis2 :shifty :mischief :cool

I was there tonight and watched a great game, the bullpen kept it interesting but I was really impressed by Nunez and by Sanchez, good to see him get out of trouble and keeping his poise.

I love how Baseball Tonight is starting to say the Marlins are going to win the division.

BREAKING NEWS!!!! "The experts" at baseball tonight just said the Marlins may be the team to beat in the nl east. They also mentioned how boni is a speed demon, and... they showed highlights of the game!!! To top it off they had a talk with Cantu over the phone. Wow finaly the Marlins get half the credit they deserve. :cool

Now if they can just get the bullpen (closer's spot-I don't think the funk with Lindstrom will last much longer-I'm optomistic) and the bottom of the order working they will be real tuff!!

nationals tie the game! on to the bottom of the 9th. Its always good to keep an eye on the braves, scince they got off to a quick start. They're also someone else with a shaky pen, at least we aren't alone :whistle

Miller's the 5th starter. They're just going with 4 to start the year b/c of the off day yesterday.

we don't need a 5th starter until April 18th i believe because of the off days in between.

We aren't going to need a 5th starter until the 18th.

Thanks, guys!

I gotta say... even if EB doesnt last long with the way he's playing right now

IT IS FUN to watch Bugs Boni in action! :thumbup

I think we have a winner of the nickname sweepstakes!

Or maybe its just those celebratinis talking...

LOL just saw a great Kevin Gregg interview... basically being like 'yep, I screwed up, just can't do it'

it immediately followed a Lou Pinella interview where he said 'we walked to many guys... you just can't do that'

(not exact quotes) :ninja

Ok, I am a little ahammered right now so pardon any mistakes (of course when I go out the first thing I do is some home and check the Marlins board :lol )

So I just wannt say that I love this right now and I know 4 games means nothing, but it just feels so good to come out of the gate running and I swear I just have a different feeling about this year. I'm not trying to get ahead of myself, I am just proud of everything we've put together so far and I hope we can keep it going strong all year. Now I am going to lay in bed and watch my recording of the game!

Nunez kind of saved the game for us, but Cantu finished it off. Then again Hanley was Hanley as usual. I think I'll go with Cantu though.

Anibal pitched well, but was limited because of some walks and high pitch at-bats. Still a solid job though.

How does Hanley not have more votes...3/4 with a hr, and without him Cantu doesn't get a chance to drive in the run.

top 5 OPSs in the NL

1) Hanley Ramirez 1.588

2) Joey Votto 1.571

3) Jorge Cantu 1.458

4) Brian McCann 1.444

5) Emilio Bonifaco 1.442

So awesome.

I voted for Cantu but it was a close one between him, H2R, Anibal and EB.

Such a difference this season having awesome starting pitching compared to last April.

And am I the only one wanting to see a race between EB and Usain Bolt???
