April 11, 200917 yr Does anyone else think that the Mets should have put in K Rod rather the the guy that let the walkoff. Well im glad they didn't it assured us the Win 4-0 best record in the MLB K-rod can get a little crazy sometimes, he did against the Reds and escaped that and last year with the Angels he did that alot as well. I think K-rod is over-rated but that is just my opinion, would have been sweet to have done that against him though!!! lol Tomorrow we might have a chance :mis2 I don't think K-rod will be needed......cough Livan cough......i hope we can hit Livan early because for osme reason he pitches well against us. Depends on how deep NolasKo goes tomorrow. I really don't feel confident when any of our bullpen guys come in to pitch.
April 11, 200917 yr ha I was lookin at the Mutts board and some ugys are saying we got "cheap" hits against them... I didn't know 2 blasts and a rocket hit for the game winner were cheap hits...and this met fan actually complemented us and said we are this years Rays and some guy said they sweeped the pathetic Nats.....and a Mets fan said so I guess that does make us pathetic? good stuff :cool
April 11, 200917 yr I voted Cantu but I think the best part about tonight LONGTERM is that Anibal looked TREMENDOUS! And if he keeps this up we have a STRONG #4 starter to go with our already absurdly phenomenal 1-2-3 starters!

And if he keeps this up we have a STRONG #4 starter to go with our already absurdly phenomenal 1-2-3 starters! good point. Want to see him go longer than 5 innings but that's a very tough lineup and they were able to work some long at-bats. Just need to clean up the bullpen a bit. I'm really hopeful that Proctor comes back strong. Guess it's a good thing Cantu's hand was okay & he was back in the lineup tonight! What a great win.

April 11, 200917 yr just got back from the game, hell of a game. Love bonaficio, and now i know the bullpen will be a huge concern. BTW, Anybody else see the fight in the 9th inning (two fights), that was pretty sick, that's why you don't drink too much during the game.
April 11, 200917 yr Hanley wins it for me. He's the MVP. that was a bomb in the first by Hanley to the second deepest part of the park. I could see him putting up careers highs in most of his stat lines this year.

April 11, 200917 yr Negatives: Bottom of the order Bullpen we have to fix these areas...i think bullpen will improve but the bottom of the order has to start getting its act together. I feel the total opposite. I feel the bottom of the order will easily improve (give 'em some more AB's, lol). The bullpen is a cause for concern.

April 11, 200917 yr Doesnt Nolasco historically suck something awful against the Mets? Only before last season. Last season he had a 3.48 ERA with a 1.248 WHIP, a 8.6 K/9 and a 5.33 K/BB.
April 11, 200917 yr Scary bullpen outing tonight. Loved Leo Nunez and his work. Is there something wrong with Matty because his velocity is way down, elevating piches, he's looked bad in each outing. Does somebody know what the hell is going on?
