4/17 Post Game

Featured Replies

Marlins defeat the Nationals 3-2.

Nolasco: 4 IP, 7 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 4 SO

Save: Lindstrom

2B: Cantu (2), Amezaga (1)

HR: Baker (1), Ross (2)

Ross tied it, Cantu and Baker set up Hermida for the game winning RBI, but the bullpen is and has been F*ckin amazing.

THE HERMIDATOR.

He doesn't hustle. He's a bust.

That bandwagon's gonna be full by June.

LOL

i like how Cody calls him The Germ. LOL!!

Unbelievable run by the bullpen. I love teams that find ways to win. 9-1 baby

players are supposed to hustle. :whistle

but good to see nevertheless.

I'd like to give it to Cody but gotta give the bullpen props. Nastiness tonight. Even Hayden Penn who'd been pretty much left for dead, has given us some nice innings lately.

hey i had a dinner so can someone tell me why ricky only lasted 4 innings because when i left he was already through 3.

got back in time to see the save. great comeback. these are games we may have lost other years.

I thought our bullpen was supposed to be our weakness :) :)

still is, very streaky still at the back end, and we never know what we will get day in and day out from Pinto in middle relief. And the team definitely needs to cut down on the K's, but that is how we kinda won last year also.

But overall, we did not look like a team that wanted to win early, but i love the resiliancy of this team

Bad game until the dy home run lol =P, Hanley and Boni hopefully get out of there slump during the rest of this series. Bullpen was great hopefully they can keep it up! Let's go for the series tomorrow! :thumbup

I'm still worried, but for a different reason. I'm not worried at all about the back end, with Kiko, Leo, and Matt (who is still in Spring Training mode due to his injury). I'm more worried about middle guys like Penn (who's looked nice), Pinto, Kensing, and Meyer.

Good to see Matty back in the upper 90's

Yeah, he hit 98 once and his average speed was 95.6, up from 94 yesterday.

once he found his control he was pretty strong, but did Lindstrom throw anything other than fastballs? Don't be afraid to mix it up a little Matt...

That's all Baker calls. It's easy to catch a fastball. I'd like to see him throw more offspeed but whatever works I guess.
