October 1, 201114 yr Viagara Park? Please no. The stadium could be called Flintstones park. "Strong and Growing"
October 1, 201114 yr Cincy's got Great American Ballpark. I'm thinking with all those brands PepsiCo owns we can get Fat American Ballpark.
October 1, 201114 yr & it's crazy how much sh*t PepsiCo owns: Pepsi-Cola, Mountain Dew, Lay's, Gatorade, Tropicana, 7Up, Doritos, Lipton Teas, Quaker Foods, Cheetos, Mirinda, Ruffles, Aquafina, Pepsi Max, Tostitos, Sierra Mist, Fritos, and Walker's KFC, Taco Bell, A&W, Pizza Hut..... I'm sure the list goes on...
October 1, 201114 yr Maybe it will be named after their futuristic new product: Pepsi Perfect ... the Back to the Future connection continues
October 1, 201114 yr I give a sh*t about the team's logo, but to me there's no wrong answer for the new stadium name. Just give it to the highest bidder, even if it's Vagisil. & it's crazy how much sh*t PepsiCo owns: Pepsi-Cola, Mountain Dew, Lay's, Gatorade, Tropicana, 7Up, Doritos, Lipton Teas, Quaker Foods, Cheetos, Mirinda, Ruffles, Aquafina, Pepsi Max, Tostitos, Sierra Mist, Fritos, and Walker's Believe it or not Coca Cola is still almost twice the size of PepsiCo. Coca Cola offers a much less diverse product in terms of diversity among products, but within beverages there are so many more coca cola products, which is in essence the most global company in the world.
October 1, 201114 yr That being said though... Pepsi has a lot of cooler names to use. The only cool names that you can really get out of Coca Cola are... Coca Cola... Sprite... and a few of their other major drinks. With Pepsi you can get Mountain Dew, Taco Bell, etc. etc.
October 2, 201114 yr & it's crazy how much sh*t PepsiCo owns: Pepsi-Cola, Mountain Dew, Lay's, Gatorade, Tropicana, 7Up, Doritos, Lipton Teas, Quaker Foods, Cheetos, Mirinda, Ruffles, Aquafina, Pepsi Max, Tostitos, Sierra Mist, Fritos, and Walker's KFC, Taco Bell, A&W, Pizza Hut..... I'm sure the list goes on... Pepsi no longer owns Yum Brands
October 3, 201114 yr Viagara Park? Please no. Free Viagara for the first 10,000 fans, Yep, another way to screw the fans.
October 4, 201114 yr I assume the announcement will come 11/11 as well.... might as well, they've been saying for months now.

October 4, 201114 yr Mercedes-Benz bought the rights to the Super Dome. that's so f***ing cool. wish the Fish coulda got that. Hitler Youth ballpark? No thanks.
October 4, 201114 yr Mercedes-Benz bought the rights to the Super Dome. that's so f***ing cool. wish the Fish coulda got that. They probably didn't pay a ton for that deal. It's almost more like Mercedes-Benz is sponsoring the Superdome since Superdome is going to stay in the name and that will be what everyone calls it.
October 5, 201114 yr Mercedes-Benz or Daimler-Benz AG? I can't imagine an upper class company like Mercedes-Benz marketing to the middle class, or it being very effective at least.
October 5, 201114 yr Mercedes-Benz or Daimler-Benz AG? I can't imagine an upper class company like Mercedes-Benz marketing to the middle class, or it being very effective at least. It's going to be the Mercedes-Benz Superdome starting on the 23rd.
October 5, 201114 yr I mean, in South Florida like every other car is some type of luxury car (Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Lexus, Jaguar, etc.) it would be a great place to capitalize.
October 5, 201114 yr And I'm sure the victims of Hurricane Katrina can't wait to ink that lease for a new Mercedes CLK :lol
October 6, 201114 yr It's ridiculous that we still don't have a stadium name. I don't know what happened, but at this point I'm operating under the assumption that they will finally reveal the name during the uniform/color unveiling ceremony next month.
