April 26, 201115 yr wow. huge win i would have been so pissed off had we lost that game. looks like hanley went back to last years batting stance and that was a huge two out rally. i thought that hanleys base hit not being in the gap would cost us but thanks to jamey carrol i guess not. huge hit by infante there to redeem himself after that 8th inning and my heart stop when that ball stayed up and almost went into the glove of sands.
April 26, 201115 yr always nice to steal one of these type games early in the year. Gotta love that this team is bringing the 3-year, 50-post posters out of the woodwork! The bandwagon still has plenty of seats, my friend! I know that wasnt for me, but I'll reply anyway - this is a very exciting ballclub right now (I just don't watch baseball during World Cup years)
April 26, 201115 yr I know Coghlan deserves the FOTG, but I'm giving Hanley some love. He needs it lol.
April 26, 201115 yr I think I want to vote for Bonifacio; who knew that he could draw a walk on that 3-2 pitch? Maybe Edwin just told him not to swing at anything.
April 26, 201115 yr Just putting this out there: Hanley sounded like a really mature veteran in that interview. WALK OFF BABY!!!!!! agreed hell i don't even know who to vote for, that 9th was so nuts. Cogs I guess, 3-4 can't argue with that. Soooo happy to see Hanley come through with a big hit there in the 9th, even though it wasn't the deciding hit you never know what will turn things around for a hitter. Hopefully that was the one. Think Carroll would've had Cousins if he makes that play, although Scott runs well and it wasn't hit all that hard... I think that's a close play. So maybe Jamey rushed it, who knows. The Sands play was even stranger. Off the bat I thought that pitch would drop in front of him, that thing just kept carrying. As great as it feels for Marlins fans, you know Dodgers fans are screaming over those two defensive plays.
April 26, 201115 yr I think I want to vote for Bonifacio; who knew that he could draw a walk on that 3-2 pitch? Maybe Edwin just told him not to swing at anything. Especially when ball 4 was a high fastball he usually whiffs at.
April 26, 201115 yr brian sanches is on pace for about 24 wins. LOL. I'm so happy right now. The half-bottle of cab helps. What a fun game, and what an awesome season this has been so far. MLB.TV = best decision of my life (even if it's a free trial for now ha!). I forgot what I was going to say. The cab definitely helps with that. Oh, yeah, right. Giz - bahahahaha. You're crazy.
April 26, 201115 yr Gotta love any game in which you win solely because of two "oh, sh*t... Ah... YES!" moments late in a game.
April 26, 201115 yr Yeah I think murph better start doing something soon or he's gone. They'll find someone of the pine if he sucks it up to much.
April 26, 201115 yr EVEN WATERTOWN_KID CAN'T BE MISERABLE TONIGHT!!! WHERE YOU AT, BABY??!? Never underestimate him.
April 26, 201115 yr Gotta love any game in which you win solely because of two "oh, sh*t... Ah... YES!" moments late in a game. Any chance Cousins beats that out if the SS (Carroll?) picks it?

I almost went there myself, especially consiering his history w/ 3-2 counts. Still went w/ Cogs, though, cause subtract his 2 runs and we still might have lost despite the 9th inning heroics.

April 26, 201115 yr 1 side note, am i the only one that feels that ryan webb is pitching or warming up in about every single game thus far?

Yea, MLB.tv is awesome. Can't foresee myself ever canceling the subscription.
April 26, 201115 yr Still early but Edwin is making a case for staying manager next year. What would our record be if Fredi had this same roster to manage? Notice the Braves record with Fredi (11 - 12)
April 26, 201115 yr 1 side note, am i the only one that feels that ryan webb is pitching or warming up in about every single game thus far? I personally like Dunn more than Webb, but it looks like Edwin or Randy are more comfortable throwing out Webb.
