gizmo
Marlins fail to sweep the Dodgers, but still take the series.
I Love Me Some Fish
I barely saw any of the game, but it really sucks to lose when they had a 4-0 lead early on. However, it still was a 7-2 homestand....we don't do that often.
Jclark1324
Edwin is a damn rock and Hanley is hard to watch.
canada-marlin24
i would rather lose by 7 then do that. we blew that f***ing game royally and when you do that it seems like the same script every damn time.
HitDaCycle
Wow Gizmo..it ended just at 3:30! Bad game for us today. But hey..sweeps are hard to come by. At least we won the series!
Hollyberry
I hate losing when there is an off day the next day. Argh, now I can't do my homework happy.
97marlin
hard one to lose, but i think we'll bounce back.
enterthemadness
Day off tomorrow and then whoop some damn Reds butt. :banghead you're going down, Reds, you're going down for the count.
Entendu
It goes back to that terribly stupid AB by Cousins. 1 out, man on 2 and 3 and you start swinging at everything? I think it was pretty obvious to everyone in that ballpark that they were going to pitch around him and set up a DP. He didn't get a single strike that whole AB
mystikol87
i would rather lose by 7 then do that. we blew that f***ing game royally and when you do that it seems like the same script every damn time. Which is why you, of course, predicted it.
mystikol87
Yeah, Cousins sucked, but you lose the game when you go 6+ innings without a hit, and 8 innings without a run scored.
louiecastillo1
And the asshole of the game award goes to Scott Cousins for not driving in that run with less than two outs.
Erick
i would rather lose by 7 then do that. we blew that f***ing game royally and when you do that it seems like the same script every damn time. We have like 10 comeback wins, and I think we're now like 6-2 in one-run games. Not as if we've been blowing games left and right. Also, today kinda sucked in the sense that we were shorthanded before the game began. Anibal was on a pitch limit. And before anyone criticizes Edwin's usage of the pen, please note that the game would've been over way before the 10th had he not made the moves he made. His only bad move was the double switch; that made no sense, and it just so happened to be Cousins striking out in the 9th.

Cousins I thnk was trying to JACK IT. First swing had home run on it.
CyggyMarlin
Bad pitch to Barajas with 2 on. Cousins EPIC FAIL at the plate. Bullpen pitching out of jams all day. Hanley 0 - 5... A game that was completely given away. Pretty much your game summary right there
dom2613
Can't win them all but we sure blew some chances. Hensley really sucked today. Even though Hanley still isn't really hitting I think he looks a thousand times better at the plate. No longer am I like " oh no here comes Hanley." I would have preferred for him to leave Dunn out there for another inning, but it's marginal because Dunn did throw 21 pitches, even though it doesn't seem like they were "high-stress." HitDaCycle
I hate losing when there is an off day the next day. Argh, now I can't do my homework happy. Funny you should mention that. I believe we lost *every* game prior to an offday! Weird pattern
Beetle
Still think we should've let Hayes swing the bat in the 9th. Whatever. Series win. On to Cincy.
Dr Beinfest
So far as I'm concerned if you take every series, you've won the World Series. Sounds good, everyone?
louiecastillo1
Now Canada marlin, we all know that Erick is a self-righteous douchebag, but there's no need for name calling. : )

Well, there was a runner in scoring position, thanks to the fact that the umpire didn't call strike 3 on Kemp; Dunn actually should've had 4 K's in that inning. 21 pitches is a lot. If anything, he should've thrown Mujica another inning, but Leo is the closer and did a good job anyway, so it's not like that really cost us the game. The double switch, however, still makes no sense; I have no idea why he took out Coghlan, who's probably our hottest hitter, right now. Mephisto
Still think we should've let Hayes swing the bat in the 9th. Whatever. Series win. On to Cincy. but you don´t want to risk hitting into a douple play there.
Erick
Coghlan had left shoulder soreness; it all makes sense now.
SixYearItch
Edwin is a damn rock and Hanley is hard to watch. Five at bats and can't hit the ball out of the infield Hanley definitely is ghastly to watch
