The way this has been overblown by the media and politicians is completely ridiculous. I know it is an election year, but to use this story as a way to gain some votes is distasteful. Calling for Ozzie's dismissal by Commissioner Martinez for a few votes is a poor political move, and shows Commissioner Martinez can not read a few lines and tell Ozzie's comment had an unintended effect, and he probably did not express himself the way he wanted to. It's clear Ozzie can express himself better in Spanish and he most likely misstated a few words in his comments, but that is no reason for a dismissal. Ozzie "shoots from the hip" when he comments on things, and hopefully will learn a few lessons from this. But the way this is being portrayed by the media and politicians is very disappointing to me. Castro is a terrible person who has caused much harm, Ozzie knows that and never said he supported him or his philosophy and actions, he simply highlighted the fact that Castro has resisted so many entities attempting to remove him from power.
