Agree with you on the points, but this is something we could say about a lot of pitchers. He might still have a decent ceiling compared to our current 3/4/5, but the likelihood of reaching that ceiling isn't great. I'm rooting for him.
April 9, 201412 yr Placed on DL now, Caminero coming up The way it should if been out of ST, Hand in Turner's spot and Caminero in the pen. Unfortunate injury... But it made the team better.

April 10, 201412 yr The reality is that Kevin Slowey is a better pitcher than Turner, Hand and even Koehler at this point in their respective careers. Slowey is not in the rotation because the season is irrelevant and the development of the younger guys is more important. The backend of our rotation sucks though. And our middle relievers walk a lot of guys. I don't quite understand the praise our pitching staff gets. It's really not that great.

It's probably average at best but still better than the offense.
