So how is Dee looking? Was he still limping or not? I really don't want to see Solano playing tomorrow

How anyone could dislike Morse or want him benched is beyond basic comprehension.

Dude before tonight he was at Salty levels at the plate while Bour has been on fire

Dee Gordon has been the best player in baseball this season. Leads both fWAR and rWAR in NL. Stanton leads majors in RBI.

Dee Gordon needs to average just over 1.5 hits per game the rest of the season to get even in the realm of Ichiro's single season record of 262.

I know there's less than a 5% chance of him even getting close, but with Ichiro on the team it would be incredibly awesome if Dee were to even make a small chase at the record this season.

Also I have to imagine playing in California helped Dan Haren tremendously today. The biggest issue with him joining the Marlins was that he'd be away from his family and that it would lead to some problems. He probably got to see his family the day before and it really got him motivated to do well today. Really happy to see him pitching well this season despite the concerns. He'll come back to earth at some point but it's real fun to watch him work at the moment.

Leader in average and leader in RBI... When Alvarez and Jose come back...HOLY SHIT!!!

Lets not forget Yelich

14 down, 78 to go

He's from southern cal which is a far way from San Francisco.  I doubt he got to see his family for long before the game considering they flew cross country yesterday.  A more realistic thought is that he is still a very good pitcher

I think we're seeing Haren be Haren using these parks to his advantage (look what happened to him at philly). He's a fly ball pitcher giving up a lot of fly balls. I think what you see is pretty much what we're gonna get which is a very solid pitcher who will you give you 6/7 innings of 1/2 run ball at home and in bigger parks, but a pretty big liability in places like Coors.

haren has definitely surprised, I gotta give it that.

He's on pace for 290.
