I like McKeon but alas too old.  The Marlins need a kick ass manager.  Jennings has cost the team at least 10 wins. Kirk Gibson would be a good choice but he couldnt get along with Loria

If the current FO remains in place....Bo Porter 2016 Marlins Mgr.

If things actually change in the FO, but Loria still has something to say Wally Backman, but other interesting choices out there with Marlins ties someone like Kevin Boles AAA mgr for the Red Sox, actually got start to career with Marlins rookie team in 2000, Brian Daubach AA mgr in the Nats or Jason Wood AAA mgr for Rangers

It'll be none of these names.

I hope its pudge

It will be someone with limited experience and no clue about analytics or platoons but they will try to convince the fans when they hire him that he will be the difference and be a huge key going forward, showing that they haven't learned anything from the previous 10 managerial firings.

Lol @ u guys still not realizing who their guy is.

Its between 2 people

50/50 on whom it is between those two.

You just mutter to yourself the same nonsense and ignore what's being said, go right ahead. :)

I am guessing Bud Black or Dusty Baker??

Otherwise I got lost in the shuffle on the posts. Fill me in!!!  :wacko

Do you guys even read the other posts?

the only hint Admin's given is "lot of managerial experience," so that automatically means it's Dusty Baker?

Terrible choice and also won't be him

Damn Admin... can't you at least humor me a little bit?? ;)

I hope it's not Baker, he'll be as close as a clown as Jennings, just look what he has accomplished..nothing

Y'all see Frisaro's inbox today where he lists a bunch of candidates and says to keep an eye on Jim Riggleman?

Yeah that's not a very reassuring list.

The last thing you want managing a young pitching staff is Dusty Baker.

But it's not shocking that they would be looking at experienced candidates after trying the 'never managed before' thing with Redmond and Jennings.

Riggleman doesnt surprise me. Loria and Co have always liked him. Think they wanted to interview him prior to the Red hiring.
