December 7, 20169 yr Nothing that hasn't already said but if you can upgrade from Bour to Encarnacion, you do it. And I do like Bour. With Edwin's market dwindling and his price tag lowering, I really hope the Marlins have thought about this.

December 7, 20169 yr am I having dejavu or you already said the same thing before If you were a better stalker you'd know.
December 7, 20169 yr Signing Encarnacion would be a much smarter move than getting Jansen or Chapman. Hopefully they get their heads out of their asses.
December 7, 20169 yr Watch your fucking mouth, ass-bag, or I will ban you. What's a mouth-ass-bag? Or should I not even ask?
December 7, 20169 yr Ever seen Human Centipede? No but I seen the South Park episode on it so I know all I need to know. Thanks.
December 8, 20169 yr Did I read correctly the offer for him currently is 3/60? If that's true, then the Marlins need to make a play.
December 8, 20169 yr Did I read correctly the offer for him currently is 3/60? It actually said nobody will even offer that, amazing
December 8, 20169 yr I mean is he a disaster at 1b or something? I'm sure he can't handle 3b anymore. But if you had to pick between 5/85 for Jansen or 3/60 for Encarnacion? Seems like a no-brainer. I like Bour too, and actually I think if he could stay healthy he might even get better offensively. But I worry about nagging injuries with him. Encarnacion is already that established top-end power bat and he's been pretty healthy in recent years. Plus if you chose not to keep Bour you could probably get a decent reliever or prospect in return.

December 8, 20169 yr Yep and then swap Bour for a SP (won't be an ace obviously) Marlins have a few mid to back end starters already Sent from my iPhone using MarlinsBaseball.com mobile app
December 8, 20169 yr Why aren't the Marlins making a play on him? Does it make too much sense or something? Improve the team too much?
December 8, 20169 yr I'll take Puig, Donnie would too What does Spencer Slayden have to say about it, though?
December 8, 20169 yr Why aren't the Marlins making a play on him? Does it make too much sense or something? Improve the team too much? not enough ground balls
December 8, 20169 yr Why aren't the Marlins making a play on him? Does it make too much sense or something? Improve the team too much? they also just signed AJ ellis. How much more of an offensive upgrade do you need for a top 5 team in batting average?
