I mean I have no clue all the steps it takes to get this sale closed but sure seems like a month isn't much time when they still haven't even picked who it's being sold to.

April 6, 20179 yr My point was that people have assumed that the next owner will not micromanage everything the way Loria does and that's not necessarily true. I don't think people think that's finish line if Loria leaves. But you at least have to start.

April 6, 20179 yr I'd still rather take a chance and have Jeter Micromanage. At least he has some experience in the game. He may be good at running it,might not, but what we got ain't working.

April 9, 20179 yr The concept that because we don't like someone's politics we don't want them to buy our team is logically flawed. Running a state or municipal government is different than running a business (even moreso a sports team). As for what someone said a few pages back regarding Bush and ruining our opening day (I don't say this to argue it was just a while back), the way I remember that situation was that the State deal was struck down by Lee at the State Senate. It wasn't like the bill passed and Bush vetoed it. (Or was it?)
