Another thing to consider.....if that is the new logo.....they were hinting at it all along with the players weekend caps this year - look at the color combo - logo primarily black on the blue cap.  It also gives an idea of what the colors would look like together with the new setup.

Probably cause the leaked image was a real image for the ST ads and the ones leaked today were old concepts that didn't win. They were quickly photoshopped into the template as a cover-up attempt.

Hey, I'm with you - and would agree with the "video game" look to what likely is the new logo, but if that's it, then that's it, not much we can do about it.

 

Oh I totally agree, we don’t own the team. When the team was announced in 1991 my 11 year old self convinced my parents to paint my walls teal and put in teal carpet. I was heartbroken in 2012 when we lost the teal and hated the new logo. Now I’m really sad we are going to lose the orange and the new logo has grown on me. In the end it really doesn’t matter, it’s just a uniform.

Well orange is my favorite color and the only 3 sports team I give a damn about are the Marlins, Dolphins and Gators so it was cool having a common color between them. No biggie though.

I wouldn't be opposed to it as a minor accent color, but making it a primary color was too much.

I just don't know why it's so dark.  It'll likely look good on an ocean blue uni though.

 

I can't devote the time to it right now, but if I can, I'll work on something tonight, or definitely tomorrow.  I have a good idea of how the rest of the script would look.

I think the logo goods on a cap because it gives off a fishing/boating vibe with the slanted pointy tips. Like it would look great in those pics of someone holding a fish they just caught on a boat with the sky and the water behind them.
