And I believe Jeter's intent with this rebrand is to keep it for over 20 years to create that consistency which is why I think he absolutely needs to get it right and that's why I'm not sold on this leaked logo. It doesn't feel good enough to finally be our logo of consistency and stability. I need something more stable and timeless.

I did it with black, gray, white and pink. The logo looks better on shirts than it did just sitting there in the leak. Gives me hope for the hats and jerseys.

Whatever you’ve done with the presentation makes it look pink.  But the leaked image doesn’t look that way.  The burgundy and light blue is very much retro Phillies powder blue uniform. So while we are worrying about ripping off other teams perhaps that should be tossed into the ring.

I didn't alter the logo at all. This is how it displayed on my monitor, the pic of the shirt is unfiltered. Perhaps my monitor is going bad though!

 

Feel free to take the leak and do a mock-up on a shirt on your end. See what color presents.

Mish can't be right though about the approval not being done yet. These things don't happen overnight.

 

It is possible the leaked one was just one of the contenders though and nobody knows the winner publicly. Though Lukas saying it was in the Style Guide says otherwise.
