the reporters should have been doing it from the moment FA opened with this team and regime - challening them to make a couple splash signings and blasting them each time a notable target when to another team.  Waiting until only Conforto is really left is not the time to go on the attack lol

She can make trades, which she doesn't seem to be doing either.  Wouldn't pull the trigger last year on a big trade, and doesn't seem to want to this year either.

she hasn't made trades, she fails as managing the roster in-season, she doesn't even know the stats of her own players, she admits to not trying and just sitting back at the trade deadline.....none of those are Bruce's faults.  I don't get why anyone still defends her

We have no idea what the other teams want in so far as trades go. If we have to trade SP because too cheap she’s doing the right thing by waiting until the FA market clears

Also per reports the asking price for both Rojas and Wendle is apparently high for some bizarre reason. She really overvalues her own players - possibly because she also makes up stats that aren't accurate as states previously

The FA market has cleared, though. The best available pitcher now is Pablo (established) or Ed (potential).

I can see Dalbec coming back for him. He’s expendable there with Casas in the picture plus the kind of guy the marlins like for whatever reason.
 

The Red Sox have an all or nothing approach with that whole launch angle thing that has either worked great (Devers/Betts) or completely ruined guys swings (Benintendi/Kìke/Jarren Duran/JBJ etc) so maybe dalbec develops some on-base ability here with more of a contact-oriented approach. I’d be good with a Straight up trade of them two honestly.
