When Marlins aquire former Braves they get guys like Matt Joyce, Adam Duvall(who doesn’t even last one season and Braves get him back), Jorge Soler and Alex Jackson. 😂

Well, conforto went to the giants on a 2/$36M deal. Annoyed cause it means they allowed basically every free agent of worth to be signed and didn’t do anything, but I also think nearly $20M a year for a dude who hasn’t played in a year is kinda crazy. Probably doesn’t get those kind of numbers if Correa stays with the giants. They kinda HAD to make a signing.

This.  She doesn't deserve more time at this point.

A cheap owner doesn't prevent her from managing a roster, knowing player stats, and sitting around doing nothing.  I get that trades take 2 to tango, and that there's sometimes money involved in the trades, but drastically overvaluing her own players and refusing to pull the trigger on any big trades are absolutely on her.

No worse, they’re going to overpay on pointless trades that take so much from the pitching that then we’re stuck with a mediocre lineup then also a mediocre rotation. Cause they act like this rotation is SO deep, but what did this staff lead the league in? We’re they even too 5 in any meaningful stats?

Yeah $19m for a projected 1.5 WAR injured guy with declining defense a little desperation from SFG. Still would have been nice to have him though
