I've talked to some others on here as well and this is literally the single most depressing offseason we can remember.  The thing is - I think most of us agreed they were going to do nothing so it was such an easy thing to just go out and prove us wrong by getting at least a Conforto or Abreu or making a good trade.  Then when literally nothing, and i mean NOTHING has been done - wow, it's just brutal. 

Looking back, how awful was for us die hards that they literally made the playoffs in 2020 and have done absolutely positively NOTHING since then that makes a lick of sense.  Last offseason was the epitome of stupidity in terms of their targets and then this year after having a brutal offense showing and the most boring offense I ever remember this team having and just begging for even a couple of middling at bats added and just zilch.  Total crickets all around.  There were  a few rumors here and there but nothing that  really seemed like they even came remotely close. 

It should have been a brutally EASY offseason for even the most basic of owner/GM combo to make fans feel like they have a shot and they did nothing.

Literally NOTHING.

Absolutely unforgivable by this owner and GM to sit on their collective asses and say fuck you to a fanbase that deserves some positivity around them.

Yeah, it's just hard to find anything positive about the team right now.  Sure, we have pitching, but no offense, and nothing has been done.  It's incompetent.

I've said it many times before, but not doing anything after 2020 was pathetic, but at least I could somewhat understand that with a completely uncertain revenue future at the time, with no fans in person, no naming rights deal, and no TV deal.

The terrible moves last year - which looked terrible when signed - and complete lack of anything since....not to mention the in-season blunders.....are pure incompetence.

I'm going to nominate Kim to become our Marlins reporter.  Since she's monitoring and interested so much, she'd be better at that job than GM.  Then we can just call her for updates since she won't call anyone else.
