He throws gas and has a great slider, that’s usually a pretty good combo. I agree he didn’t look too good but sometimes that’s related to the injury itself. Even before the final straw moment where the injury actually happens, the ligaments start degrading and effect his arm strength, timing, muscle responses etc. We see it all the time in other pitchers where a rough stretch of games is usually a harbinger of coming injury troubles. So I wanna hold off on judging him until he comes back healthy and faces big leaguers again. But yeah, even if he turns out to be a Kimbrel-esque dominant closer or setup guy, that’s a win in my book too.

I'd much rather not be talking about Joey Wendle. The fact that this is the only name mentioned right now should upset you. Think about it. Where the fuck are the Pablo rumors? What is everyone waiting for? Very few peeps about this team and when we get one, it's Joey Wendle? Someone's dropping the ball.

And yes I know the track record but I doubt this Wendle-Boston "thing" is Kim's one priority. That's a silly assumption.

In hindsight, maybe we should have started a "day tracker" of no major league signings/trades.

 

We're on Day 46 of nothing done by the Marlins FO since the world series ended/the offseason began.

Has it really only been 46 days?? Man it seems like so much further ago. I guess that's what happens when you're never in the post season and the Marlins season ended up June basically

Why is Rojas so untouchable?  Honestly,  I can live with him as a defense first SS, but I soured on him after the whole Jazz thing last year.  Trade him and try to improve our offense. 

Sherman being cheap is a problem.   Kim being incompetent is a different problem and that's probably the biggest problem IMO.
