July 30, 20242 yr Good deadline overall, got rid of all the 30+ year olds and FAs while getting major league and minor league depth and $. The Rogers trade feels like the real get and needle mover. Instant infusion of young bats to the major league roster. Not sure about the Scott trade when praying for a bat, but does refill upper minor pitching depth that we lost. Hopefully both Padres trades this year amount to eating crow. The others probably won't amount to anything but still like all we got - the fact we got anything interesting for DLC is awesome

July 30, 20242 yr Someone made a good point on Twitter that the Padres have been subpar developing talented pitching prospects like Weathers and Gore who went on to perform elsewhere. Snelling was a first round pick with a sub 2 era in A/A+/AA last year at 19 years old…that’s elite. Other guy was good last year as well. Could be good
July 30, 20242 yr C Ramirez, Mack 1B De Los Santos, Martorella 2B Norby, Serna SS Edwards, Sonoja 3B Burger, Pauley LF Marsee, Alderman CF Stowers, Head, Mesa RF Morlando DH Berry SP Meyer, Meyers, White, Snelling, De La Cruz, Mazur Honestly not bad potential here at most positions and I left some off. Some aren’t big league ready but it’s good to look out. Night and day difference from this offseason and we still have all of our major league SPs except Rodgers. July 30, 20242 yr If all these moves mean we can compete sooner rather than way down the line then I've gotta say I'm impressed. Kinda wild that Bendix had the balls to scorch the earth instead of the half rebuild half compete way that many have tried to do this. Feels like others were scared to do it this way. It would be quite ironic if this method leads to results faster than the half ass way.
