How do you all feel about the recent rumors that the Marlins are considering trading Anibal and/or Ricky? Personally I hope we keep Anibal. If Josh can come back to his regular form next season, he and Anibal would make for a solid top of the rotation. I wouldn't mind trading Ricky if we get a nice package of minor leaguers for him from a team that really needs starting pitching for their run towards the playoffs.

People that are walking their dog at the same time I'm walking mine. I'll say hi and smile as I walk by them but I hate when they want to start a conversation. I don't know you and there's nothing really to talk about besides what breed your dog is. I just find it really awkward.

That "injury" was one of the worst things I have ever seen in sports. Walks around for a few seconds, falls down. Gets taken off the field on a stretcher, once out of bounds sits up, gets off the stretcher and starts jogging. Comes right back in like nothing even happened. I don't watch soccer often, can someone explain to me why she only got a yellow card? You would think that's enough to get booted from the game.

Two things have been annoying me lately almost to the point of insanity. If you don't live in an urban environment, you might not understand how much a pain in the ass it is: -People coming up to me on the street asking for money -People riding bikes on the sidewalks When I lived in Albuquerque I was walking out of a grocery store with my mom and brother when this homeless woman asked us for money. When we told her we didn't have any she got angry and called us "haters". My mom called the store from the parking lot and the manager came out to tell her she needed to leave. Another time I was riding in my friends car with the window down, waiting to turn onto a street when I heard a woman a couple feet away say "$10, sir?". I acted like I didn't hear her. The nerve of some people.

Can someone please tell me what happened with Stanton and the fan? Stanton caught a ball near the foul line. When he went back to his position, a fan basically stepped his foot on the field and punched him in the back. Stanton gave him the stare and he took a sh*t. What inning? I don't want to go through the whole game archive. Edit: Nevermind, it's a featured video. That idiot probably went home and told his friends that didn't see the game he challenged a pro athlete to a fight and he didn't want any. I wouldn't have been upset if Stanton decided to clean that guys clock right in front of the woman he was with that also thought it was so funny what he did. But he did the classy thing and walked away.

I'm not sold on the Norris Cole pick. Yeah he put up big time numbers but his shooting percentages aren't great and he played in a lower tier conference. He had one great rebounding year out of his 4 at Cleveland State -- I know he's a guard and that stat doesn't really matter but if you're gonna say he's a good rebounding guard I would like to see more than one year of proof. He should be a good distributor and defender at the least. Instant upgrade over Bibby but don't know if he is the long-term answer at PG. Chalmers and Cole together should make for a nice combo though.

Hoping Riley moves him for an extra second rounder. Seriously? Big Z is likely to be a better short term player than an extra second rounder. Plus, I am not sure he could get a second round pick for Big Z. The depth in this draft is impressive. Guys that would normally go late in the 1st round in most drafts are projected to go middle-late second round. There are going to be quite a few good rotation players coming out of picks 31-60. Plus I'd rather have a young, hungry, athletic 22-year old over a slow 7'2" 36-year old perimeter shooting center who we didn't even play in the ECF and Finals. I don't think we'd get a second rounder for him either but you never know when it comes to Riley, hes proven that time and time again.

I understand it's an interesting story but If we were beating everyone we played right now and in the running for the division there is no way they would be giving us this much attention. Nobody on ESPN picked us to run with the Phillies, when they were only 2 games behind them ESPN hardly mentioned it. And while this streak has been rough, to compare us to the 0-16 Lions in that "Demise of a Franchise" list is crap. We may have 1 win this month but we're still 32-41, a losing record but nothing like a team that failed to win a game an entire season. They constantly blowup the negative and downplay the positive when it comes to the Marlins.

Yeah, let's trade our best hitter for a veteran infielder. I can't wait for Omar Vizquel to join the Marlins! Ok let's trade Hanley and you can eat his contract. What value does Gabby bring. First basemen are a dime a dozen and he doesn't even have power. 19 homers his rookie season. 13 homers so far this season. His power is just fine and he hits for average. Plus he's entering his prime years. Trading him would be an enormous mistake.

When we were challenging the Phillies for first in the division they said absolutely nothing about us. Now that we suck they are all over it. Front page of their site, beginning of Sportscenter(if not leading it). All over their other talk shows. F**k you ESPN, you act like we don't exist when we are good and can't get enough of it when we fall to the bottom of the standings.

I'm willing to watch a game in there today. That's gonna be an amazing ballpark when it's complete.

Gaby needs to be a part of our future. He had a good rookie year and he is raking this season. Considering he is just entering his prime he should be a Marlin for the next 3-4 years at minimum.

No way the Cards take that deal. If they do trade him it'd be to someone who has alot more to offer than us.

Why should the fans care when the players don't? This team may not be the most talented but they're alot better than they've been playing recently.

Anyone got a complete list of free agents for this coming offseason?

Personally think the only untouchables should be Gaby, Morrison, Stanton, Anibal. JJ is a beast when he is healthy but he's just so damn fragile and if someone is willing to still pay high value for Hanley thinking this slump is just an aberration I say go for it.
