JMLinkinPark
Delgado is struggling If we got Delgado It'd have to include a large portion of the contract being paid.

farmer_fran
When Gammons said the marlins were going after Delgado I almost fell out of my chair. Yeah I'm sure the cash strapped Marlins would love to take on the $20 million salary of Delgado. Gammons is clueless, he just makes s*** up. jonnylons
Gammons said the Marlins CALLED about Delgado. That doesnt mean we are going after him. Besides, where the hell would you play him? I am not giving up Choi nor moving him from 1B. Sorry, no on Delgado. I was wondering though if Houston really would trade Beltran. I guess if he is going to test the market, they have to. If that is the case, he will be had for much cheaper than they paid for him - and that sucks for Houston. I wonder if we could deal for Finley, then turn around and flip him to the Astros for Beltran...ahhh. That aint ever going to happen. I think something will get done because all the execs are hanging out together at the AS game. Plus, players are with other guys from other teams - there has to be some recruiting going on. And the July 31 deadline is right around the corner...

JJ24
which is not that bad......if it happend itd be bad for choi but delgado is way better
Beinfest4Prez
which is not that bad......if it happend itd be bad for choi but delgado is way better 458044[/snapback] I will take Choi. He our only lefty power threat. Delgado meanwhile has sucked it up after getting a fat contract.
flasportsfan88
I think a relocation and a move to a contending team would boost anybody.
CapeFish
I don't want Delgado. He hasn't played well at all this year.
Iowa
He did bat .305 with 45 homeruns and 145 RBI last year
The_Punisher
My take is if the MArlins were to make a swap they'd have to get a bullpen arm AND a bat in the same deal with part of the contracts taken cared of......
flasportsfan88
Choi .275/14/35 in 81 games to Delgados .223/10/36 in 55 games... Delgados been hurt but if hes healthy way better than choi, almost as many ribbies and homers in way less games..
Flamarlins3
Pretty big if to rely on if he is healthy enough. I'd rather have Kendall or Finley than him. We will see 50000 trade rumors in the next few weeks with 99.999999% of htem being false, but I'm looking forward to it
