On MLBN today they had were comparing Mike to other guys who had been in the bigs a full calender year in by age 21 and Mike has the most homers and man did his numbers look similar to Wille Mays.

Knowing his consistent power, if he can hit another 33 hr by the end of the season, he would be at 48. Wow

BR has him at a 2.2 WAR so far, and +8 runs fielding, while Fangraphs has him at a 1.8 WAR and -0.4 runs fielding so far. What does +/- say?

So BR has him on pace for a 5.5 WAR even with the slow start.

I check the baseball-reference defensive stats almost every weekday and I think it's updated daily.

Stanton's +/- is 5 right now. I'm not sure why his UZR is slightly negative. They are two different systems, though.

So 2/3 of the major systems have him strongly positive, and 1 has him virtually neutral. Considering last year's stats and that he started this season with a leg injury, I think it's pretty safe to say that he's a plus defender when healthy.
