The Official Giancarlo Stanton Man Crush Thread

Featured Replies

2 hits in the last 6 games. DFA him!:p I think he read this thread and the idea of men having a crush on him killed his mojo.:mis2

So I was watching Quick Pitch a couple days ago and I saw that at PNC park a group of guys went to the game together and sat in a corner with a huge sign that read something like Andrew McCutchen Man Crush Corner. I think you guys should do that in the most uncreepy manner as possible (if it is possible).

I think Stanton needs a day off tomorrow (or today). Get the day off + Monday off, and comeback fresh on Tuesday for the Mets series. He's struggling this week. Good thing with him is that when he sucks offensively, he normally doesn't hurt you defensively.

Epic video, except the 3 or so minutes of black screen.

I actually turned down In The Air Tonight and played John William's Superman March (Alternate Album Version) over top of it.. It runs 3:50 and it fit your video awesomely

Oh!

One time Mike Stanton hit a home run off a 106 MPH fastball from Aroldis Chapman. After the game, he told a reporter he almost lost his balance waiting for the pitch to come to him...then they both laughed and remembered Mike Stanton never loses his balance.

Mike Stanton once caught his own home run...and then hit another home run. He is now the only player to ever hit two home runs in one at bat.

He also was the fan who caught the second home run in the at bat. He was able to go down and get himself to sign the ball.

With the season starting in less than a week....

:lol Randy!

anyone notice he little tweak to Stanton's batting stance where he now twirls the bat instead of setting it on his shoulder?

Could be a new interesting trigger to get his timing down.

Lol, is this getting bumped up every time he hits a HR?

I have no problem with that!
