I'm with both of you. Maybe if Stanton and Logan had been here all year, I would have gone with one of them. Gaby has been here all season and has put up consistent production despite being a rookie.

I really thought about giving it to Logan, but like most of you said he hasn't been here for the whole year. I certainly hope none of them have a sophomore slump nor does Cogz when he comes back next year. UGGZ needs a CONTRACT, fix the BP and SP, and we should have an awesome team next year.

Totally Gaby for his consistency all year long but in a way, I'd love some sort of combined award. The impact that Gaby, Stanton, and LoMo have made on this ballclub is a bright spot in this year. And one that should have longstanding impact. Almost similar to the impact the energetic 2006 squad had as a whole, I love what seemingly lies ahead for this rookie trio of 2010. Gotta love that future!

I don't get this. So lets say next year Gaby does what he's done this year over the first 132 games. Great. Then Stanton next year performs well in 82 games but drops off the fricken map and performs terribly for 50 games which gets him sent down. You still pick Stanton over Gaby?

 

The thing is Stanton's 82 games + 50 games of a some AAA player would outperform Gaby's 132 games by 12 runs. Stanton has played so well and the gap in performance is so wide that it's Stanton even with Gaby's 50 game advantage.
