-Miami Fan-
Incredible! I mean this guy has absolute ice water running through his veins! Philly or not, Roy Halladay is a hall of famer and one of my favorite pitchers of all time and I'm proud to say I witnessed his no-hitter tonight! I don't think any Marlin fan is angered to see Doc throw a no hitter to put the Phillies up 1-0 in the NLDS.
bobbob1313
Amazing, so glad I bought the MLB.tv postseason package so I could see it at work.
Michael
Absolutely incredible. I was rooting for Roy cause I like the guy, but it's also upsetting to see the Phillies win lol Back on topic, though, what a postseason debut for Mr. Halladay, and just an absolute great game to watch. -Miami Fan-
To be honest, I wouldn't be pissed if Philly won the whole damn thing this year. They're a great team and they have one of my favorite pitchers ever. Yeah they're fans are god-awful, but Doc deserves it.

mystikol87
The name's Young. Cy Young. So upset that I missed this. To my Phillies fan friend @ school, I was saying that he makes me want to root for PHI, but I just can't do it.
Anonymous
Theyy should change the awards name to The Roy Halladay.

Iowa
This guy on the Iowa rivals board started a thread entitled NO HITTER ALERT after 1 inning. lol
Rabbethan
From the Mets fansite NoNoHitters.com: Really Halladay? Are you kidding? First postseason game and the Mets can’t do 7,806 regular season ones?

The funniest part is the guy with the most no-hitters (Nolan Ryan) was drafted by the Mets! :lol
alejandrasnow
Yeah, it's a nice story but I want the Phillies out of the post season asap along with the Braves.
bakerluv77
I'm just going to go ahead and say it: I'm not the kind of person that roots for opposing teams...EVER. I'm a sore loser all the time. I hated the Perfect Game, and didn't care that I was "watching history (I know, go ahead and bash me)." Right now, I'm rooting for a Reds and Rangers WS (unlikely, I know), and basically, Roy F****** Halladay and his brilliance are the bane of my existence whether he's playing my team or not!!! yokofox33
He is the best. I've always loved Halladay. It just sucks he is on the Phillies.
Michael
Something I'm sure most people knew here but I still think is interesting: *from mlb.com Halladay is also the first pitcher to throw a no-hitter and a perfect game in the same season, and the first starting pitcher in postseason history to get more hits than he allowed -- he hit an RBI single in the second inning.
