This sounds like the show will be very interesting.

I don't get Hanley asking for an extension when he still had 3 seasons left.

Get back to 2009 form then well talk.

And I don't really understand Bells shove it up their ass comment.

Heath Bell is extremely annoying.

Do you want him to shove it up your ass?

*looking at you like you're crazy*

I thought Hanley and Jose Reyes hated each other.

Yeah me too. I'm f***ing shocked that the retards are twitter were wrong!

One of the reasons Jose signed with us is because he loves Hanley i read an article about it.

For $106 Million Dollars I'd love Hanley too. Heck, I'd be willing to love all of you for just half that money.

Jose Reyes did not have any other choice. The Mets were not willing to pay him more to extend his contract, and no one else was willing to give him a chance because of his injuries.

Hey, the first true episode airs tonight. Although the footage of Ozzie and Bell's conversation and Big Z's mic'd up pitching performance have both already reached youtube.

Don't watch it. (the clips)

At 12 they're going to replay it on the same channel it came on at 10.

Wow, hard to believe how crass the Marlins front office is, I guess they didn't care how classless they looked,

Otherwise it was entertaining to see a closer insight into the team.

They got the entire first half out of the way in the first episode ...

i see that their upto date i hope i dont get showtime for 4 show

We may not be baseball's best team, but we are far and away baseball's most interesting team. I don't think any other team could've given half of the unpredictable stuff the Marlins have given Showtime for a half a season.

I feel like we are getting shafted with 30 minute episodes.

The giants series was quick last year too and quickly got to the Allstar break. Atleast the bad long episodes though.

I think the first episode was a bit of a letdown. It's way too edited down so it's hard to find much substance in it. They basically condensed the offseason, spring training, and first half of the season down to 60 minutes. That's just not enough time to cover everything properly.

You get virtually no insight into any of the players outside of Reyes, Zambrano, Bell, and Stanton. It would have been cool to see more in depth how guys like Gaby, Coghlan, Morrison, etc. were dealing with their struggles and underwhelming performance.

You get a lot of David Samson, though, who likes being on the camera way too much. It's astonishing how much input he seems to have on baseball operations. Samson is depicted as being at the center of everything; you rarely even see Beinfest or Hill. In what other organization does the team president have this much sway over the baseball side of things?
