My favorite part of the show was probably the Dobbs chatter. "Man, moving the runner over, bringing in that run from third on a groundout, that's the sh*t!"

That was good. That's the type of stuff I'd like to see more of in the show rather than David Samson grandstanding.

For how "all access" the crew is supposed to be, you don't really catch many candid exchanges.

I was pretty surprised when mike hill told Ozzie that he was sending gaby down. He just looked at Ozzie and said "gaby" and pointed with a thumbs down. Kind of weird.

Sure, everyone wants to see it, but the number of people who want to see it without paying for it is disgusting, although totally unsurprising. It's also ultimately self-defeating.

The only poster without a Showtime subscription who actually seems to understand that Showtime owns the content and isn't in business to have people steal their content is 'miamibaseball,' who subscribed just to see this show.

I salute him. Fractured syntax notwithstanding, he perfectly demonstrates the stark difference in attitude between people who think that they're entitled to steal something they want and those who understand that you are supposed to pay for what you want.

I haven't subscribed to Showtime since the '80s (and won't) because I've considered their content to be largely crap, but I certainly would have paid a buck or three per episode for the right to see only this particular series of shows, but that doesn't seem to be possible. I'll wait until someone else buys the right to rebroadcast the series. A la "The Sopranos." (I also can't stand most of what HBO broadcasts.)

And, yes, this post is intended to make intellectual property thieves think twice about what they are doing. If enough people engage in IP theft over a long enough period of time, the capital to produce the content they want to steal won't be available in the future. That's the self-defeating part. Nothing gets produced if costs can't be recouped and a profit made.

Yes, yes, I know this post will probably have zero effect on those bent on what they consider to be a minor or inconsequential theft, but theft is theft and that IP theft is generally winked at is corrosive to civil society and the rule of law.

Next time you want some intellectual property you don't own for nothing -- that is, to steal it -- think about what your attitude about theft would be if you were the one who had produced it at great expense and relied on revenue from it for your income.

Now That I'm actually Getting to watch the show, I have one commen for the Heath Bell weight trashers.

Fordidbt guy did not look fat at all.

Samson: your not pitching him because we paid him (9m)?

Ozzie: I don't give a f*** how much you paid him, that's your f***ing fault.

Lololololo

Ozzie: I don't give a f*** how much you paid him, that's your f***ing fault.

Think about that for a minute.

That's at least a tacit admission that Guillan thinks Bell is (probably vastly) overpaid.

Ozzie makes so many off-the-wall comments that you wonder how he internally justifies that pungent and very revealing (about what he really thinks of Bell) comment with "Guys who play well will get playing time" and "I have my players' backs" and "We're a better team with him" considering that Bell has sucked more wind than all of the Hoovers on the planet.

If you could eliminate clichés from baseball-speak, none of these guys would ever have anything to say, but Ozzie, with all of his contradictory clichés has managed to make himself look like either an idiot or someone who is incapable of mouthing anything other than standard boiler-plate answers to what are serious questions.

Oh, well. They knew they were getting a wild-card when they hired him. Maybe they like obfuscation. I hope so, they're getting a lot of it.

Folks, once again, please... do not post "links" or requests for them. Board can get in real trouble for that.

Say, Beetle, you wouldn't be vindicating my post 133 above, would you?

I'd like to let you know you're never going to see the program unless you get the DVD. It'll never be on anywhere on basic cable.

Gaby was the adult in the room - shook all hands as thanks for the patience.

I truly hope he finds a way to return.

I can't believe Bell was more worried about people not having his back than about getting his job done. No wonder he's been so bad.

I'm glad I don't have showtime, because judging by what some of you are saying, something tells me that the show would only intensify my hatred of the Marlins front office.

I thought far and away the best part of the show was after the end, while the credits rolled, they had LoMo doing a funny 2 minute long "speak his mind".

I added Showtime last week as part of a Comcast special offer. The show was interesting. I actually thought it humanized the ownership, removing just the random hatred. It shows they want to win, it shows they are willing to add to the team and it shows that they felt like sh*t sending down Gaby the day he has that big home run.

Asked what everyone though of the show.....,,.....

I'll just say I'm truly f***ing ashamed to share the title of "Marlins fan" with some of them.

It was about as funny as a 10 year old who learns his first curse words, for his sake I hope he's able to hit more like he has the last week or it will be even less funny when he's back in New Orleans.

You have absolutely no sense of humor.

Tell me about it.

The vast majority of comments were vulgar and uncalled for, demeaning players and Ozzie and jus full of doush baggery, not unlike some here.

Id say every 5 comments there we probably 1 maybe two good ones. Just full of ignorance.
