They fired Redmond to change things up, but it appears that things have less of a chance of changing than they did when Red was manager.

May 22, 201511 yr There are 120 games left in the season. To put that in terms of a 9-inning game, we are in the top of the 3rd inning and an out hasn't even been recorded yet. No doubt this has been a painful homestand, but I think there is still plenty of time to turn this thing around. Go Flounders!

May 22, 201511 yr I am trying to enjoy my vacation and I thought I will just ignore the game until I can just check the final score. I had known that it was 3-2 and then when I saw we lost 7-6 on missed bunt plays and an infield single.....well it just feels like this is another season of expectations that may turn into a last place finish. There really is no team where things snowball like they do with the marlins. I have to keep reminding myself we are 10 games under .500.

Well according to Baseball Prospectus as of the morning of May 21st we have an 8% chance of making the playoffs (even worse as of today). This is the same as the chance of winning a game when down 6-0 in the top of the third. I like your optimism but it's not looking too good for the Dan Jennings lead Marlins.
