I don't give a crap how good he is with the pitchers. Tellis should be getting his at bats. Even playing 1B with Bour. I hate Casey for wasting space on this team.

Odd considering he has the appearance that he can rake.

August 9, 201511 yr It's difficult for me to just hate on a player, it's the front office who thinks he's good enough to be in there. I mean sure MCGehee sucks but we knew that, why doesn't Mike Hill? What does it say about a front office who thinks Mathis is good enough to be on the roster?
August 9, 201511 yr Hard to truly hate a player unless they're a complete jackhole and talk about themselves as if they walk on water. Ultimately they're there to get paychecks as this is kind of their profession, i'm sure any of you would probably sign on to make even the league minimum despite knowing your batting average would make Mathis look like vintage Gwynn or your pitching stats make Brad Hand look like Maddux. that said, there are certainly players i NEVER want to see suit up for the fish ever again. Dunn, Mathis, and McGehee are the current 3 that I despire our FO for keeping on the team. If I could pick 3 to be gone for good, I'd take Dunn, Mathis, and D. Solano (as I'm fairly certain Casey won't be here next season anyway but sadly those 3 will - Dunn and Solano for sure)
