Probably obvious now but it needs to be said that with less than two weeks until the trade deadline every single win these next few days is gonna push the front office to doing whatever it can to seriously improve this team. This is no longer "an outside contender" team.

we not seller as  past four years we are buyer i remember one guy on mlb network say we could good other were lauging could not happen i bet guy telling i told you so their have nat and mets been top team phy and marlins fight for 3-4 place

Today, Dee debuted NOLA game as No. 1 hitter and 2nd baseman. He went 0-for-5 combined twin bill, without any walk and k.

first time at bat long long time hope he get better as more game he play

Urena looked great against the Phillies (who have the second worst team OPS in MLB).

Awesome win. Enjoying the ride but I can't help but think this team has to start scoring more runs.

Urena is better than Koehler. Someone had to say it.

He certainly has better stuff.

Yea.

we need a quality SP and we can take the division for first time ever

Loria better open the pocketbook.  The 7/29 game probably brought in  lot of extra $ thanks to Stanton

From Just Schultz's article  the ONLY pitcher probably traded by deadline is Rich Hill.  And I quote.....BBuwWvq.img?h=523&w=728&m=6&q=60&o=f&l=f© Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports Jul 17, 2016; Oakland, CA, USA; Oakland Athletics starting pitcher Rich Hill (18) pitches the ball against the Toronto Blue Jays during the first inning at O.co Coliseum. Blister injury aside, Rich Hill is the best starting pitcher available in the current market. And while the market is relatively weak, Hill is not, as he’s been pitching like an ace every time he’s taken the mound this season. Both his ERA and FIP sit well below 3, and the lefty has been able to strike out just shy of 11 batters a game. If he wasn’t in the middle of a one-year deal, his age (36) would be a huge red flag for interested teams. Instead, it’s his injury history that will give general managers sleepless nights. Hill has pitched more innings this season than he has in any since 2007. That’s nine years. A huge warning label should be plastered on his forehead. But because he just needs to get through a few more months and the fact that he’s the prize of the starting pitcher trade market, teams will definitely take the risk. I’d say there’s a 95 percent chance Hill is shipped out of Oakland.

What a great game. Been in so fla since Saturday and absolutely love Jeff Nelson. Why can't he take Preston's job immediately?

Mad props urena. Stuff is far better than TK. loved his 2 seam use. Very smart

Going to be here when the Marlins are home?

I am SURPRISED the three batters facing Ramos tonight did NOT learn anything from facing him last night.  THANK YOU!!

There wasn't much to learn other than Ramos is nasty when he has all his pitches working as was the case tonight.

100% agree. Both have control issues, but Urena has the ability to get ground balls

Urena looked good. Of all the scrubs we've marched out there in that spot, he's the only one that looks the part.

This team is extremely fun to watch.. can't wait for the next game!!

YES.

this 100%

when he keeps that ball down in the zone his stuff looked absolutely filthy at times tonight and omgz, a marlins pitcher who gets ground balls (take note Chen).

After acquired a #2 SP named Jose Urena,we only need to trade for one more #2 SP,what the hell he didn't start this season in our rotation !?
