2016 Trade Deadline Thread

Featured Replies

I had a 20 minute convo with Ricky once, it was impromptu. We were both waiting for the valet to bring the cars at the same time and it was taking longer than expected. He's a very down to earth nice guy. I want to see him succeed again and he has friends/family in Miami as well as a winning team he can be a part of. Bring him home.

I concur...do it...do it!

The worst thing about trading Capps is that they sold low on him.

I hope they trade Ozuna in the off-season so they can sell high on him.

Yeah I (and others here) kept saying for weeks they shouldn't deal Carter because it'd be selling low on him. Dumb dumb dumb move and possibly because they felt like being cheap fucks.

Its a bench player, won't be too exciting regardless.

I guess that move can happen during the waiver trade deadline depending on need/injuries.

Or Ramos

Loria was gone from like the 3rd inning to the 7th.

Moves on the way?

Yeah he was buying a Picasso with the 2.5 million we got from San Diego.

Just think, @pollyvonwog stayed a fan after Paddack was dealt but this deal ended his fandom here. That's how shitty it was.

If we make the playoffs he'll be back. Under his current username or a new one.

Being a Marlins fan is often a very miserable existence.

No way someone endures that much pain and then doesn't rejoice at the end of a playoff drought.

I still don't believe it.  Did he say he was leaving the site?

He was here as recently as yesterday, so I'm pretty sure he's not leaving.

Polly's gone guys. It's understandable too, until Loria is gone a lot more fans are going to jump ship.
