Maybe a combination of both but I’m definitely seeing a much more aggressive approach and an intent to pull the ball. The 2020-2021 approach was an obsession with waiting to take the ball the other way instead of jumping on fastballs. Obviously you can’t go in trying to pull every pitch cause you’ll get wrecked. But if the scouting report says a guy is throwing a lot of first pitch fastballs then turn on that bitch and try to do some damage.

To be fair, part of the problem in the past has been not being able to take advantage of underperforming opponents so if the Phillies pitching was bad and the Marlins took advantage that's a step forward for this team. Gotta take advantage when the opponents give us an opening.
