Marlins win the series! First series win of the year.

Elieser with six strong innings, just gave up two hard hit balls all game.

Jazz drives in three with a triple, double, and sac fly.

Jeezy with three hits and a pair of RBI.

DLC gets two more hits in a start.

Everyone except Payton Henry had a hit, and Henry reached base / scored a run with a HBP and drove in a run with a groundout.

Good stuff!

Luzardo vs the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Beating wheeler up very satisfying. Nice lineup today

Paul sounds sooooooooooooo much happier working with Kermit instead of Hollytime.

Never doubted them. And Jesus Sanchez > Bryan Reynolds, never wanted that Reynolds guy anyways.

I have no doubt they can have nights like this where everything clicks. My concern has always been that the lineup is prone to A LOT of streakiness. Either way, I’m definitely glad to see the lineup come out swinging and putting runs on the board!

Great offense, great pitching.

Production from CF

Still need to trade for a real CF, you would never have enough offense.

Very crispy.

Pleased with this series win.

@Das Texan, the days we're better than the 4th place team in the division. Screenshot_20220418-173211_MLB.thumb.jpg.1002583520c92c9f51a6989e4973dc67.jpg

Mets in a league of their own. Alonso and Marte playing awesome.

Bassitt has been great for them.

Nope.

You think they'll let us play four outfielders a time like a softball game?

Great win, keep that offense coming

you actually can play 4 outfielders at one time.

Yes.

Rather not though cause Don would somehow still have them all shifted to the right.

We have a CF.  His name is Jesus!!!

He's been great so far.  He's a good athlete and I think he can keep it up.

I think the best part about the three wins in this series was that, of the combined 22 runs in those three games, only one came from a homer. Obviously we had 3 that came from homers in the loss Saturday, but the 22 runs in the 3 wins being almost entirely from just stringing good at bats and swings together is very promising.

Home runs are great and all but I prefer them after they've strung a few hits together and gotten a run or two in already. Getting guys on base changes how even a routine batted ball gets played and creates more opportunity for guys to get on and/or score. Plus, this park is WAAAAAY more conducive to an offense that plays the lines and gaps.

Indeed. Thus why the 21 runs being manufactured rather than just on dongs excites me.
