July 13, 20233 yr Cueto’s ERA, FIP, xERA, and xFIP last year were all a good bit better than Bryan Hoeing’s this year. I don’t expect a renaissance, but it’s not a stretch to think that he can help out the team as currently constructed, especially given how many young starters we have who may have innings limits.

It’s not a stretch to say Cueto can be helpful & maybe impactful. If anything, like you mentioned he’s going to lighten the load.
