Wainwright didnt pitch in the 2011 postseason because he was injured. He was on the team.

July 16, 20233 yr Yes, Stallings and Fortes have been really bad. That said ... I really do not want to trade for this combination shown below: Fix up third base and shortstop, then we can live with the lack of offense at catcher and keep the pitching staff happier.
July 16, 20233 yr Fortes is one of the best defensive catchers in baseball even though him and Stallings struggle badly to contain running games. I would agree that Perez is way past his prime and not worth it, but that just sounds like something the Marlins would do.

Also, it's only 30 points off of his career OPS. I would suggest that having him in a better lineup with better hitters around him will improve his numbers in MIA. That said, that salary for that production is steep. If we can send them Avi back and a mid level prospect or 2 back, I'd do it.
